Welcome onboard: The AURENA Tech team is growing

As we finish 2021, we are delighted to report that AURENA Tech has expanded the headcount in our Agile, Quality Assurance, and User Experience practices. We are happy to welcome the newest colleagues to our team: Scrum Master Orsolya Gyulai, Junior QA Engineer Iana Stavnicha, and UI Design Lead Kresimir Miloloza. Together, we are pursuing our mission to build the best auction experience in the digital world.

Delivering a best-in-class user experience

Since we started, AURENA Tech has put a high value on user experience as central to the buyer and seller journey, and fundamental to our success as a business.

Kresimir Miloloza, our new UI Design Lead, is currently based in Croatia and has an impressive international track record in product and interface design. He formerly led digital UX practice in enterprise software for clients like McDonald’s, Microsoft, and Nando’s.

Kresimir has taken up a key role in our product development team to deliver a best-in-class user experience. He says: “I’ve joined AURENA Tech because of three factors: a great product vision that is guiding our product, an amazing international team of experts and an exceptional product itself which emphasises sustainability and gives a second life to previously used items.”

Improving our agile development process

Joining us to make improvements to our agile development process, Orsolya Gyulai (GO) graduated from Vienna University of Economics and Business and has gained a wealth of experience as Scrum Master and Project Manager in various software companies in Vienna.

Together with GO, we will further improve our agile development process and boost our efficiency as a Scrum team. “I am very excited to be on this agile journey with AURENA Tech and contribute to a better and more sustainable world with our products. It is a win-win,” she says.

“The goals are set, the challenges accepted”

Our new Junior QA Engineer Iana Stavnicha is based in Germany. She supports the team with manual testing and is gaining experience in all other quality related activities like automated functional testing, performance and security testing.

After completing a Software Testing Academy and doing some freelance testing, Iana landed her first full-time IT position at AURENA Tech. She says: “I’ve observed the IT world from afar for years and dreamed of joining it. Then it all worked out by itself, well plus my hard work, will and wish to be here. But with the help of such a supporting team like AURENA and the best mentor like our QA Lead Tatjana it is nothing but joy and happiness to work beside them. The goals are set, the challenges accepted, and I’m most excited to be a part of this journey with AURENA.” Due to several years as an English second language teacher in China, Iana also brings Chinese language skills to the team.
