A Boost for the AURENA Tech Backend Team

The AURENA Tech team continues to grow, and we are currently making strong progress in expanding our Backend Team. With Adnan Beganovic, Lukas Falkensteiner and Paul-Lukas Kovacic, we are pleased to welcome three new engineers to AURENA Tech.

Adnan: Excited by the opportunity to work on a growing product

Adnan joins us as a Senior Backend Engineer with strong experience in distributed systems and a particular interest in microservice architectures. His focus will be on strengthening the AURENA backend platform, improving service reliability and contributing to the continued evolution of our microservice landscape. Before joining AURENA Tech, Adnan worked at Snowoffice GmbH, where he developed microservices for a booking platform and a standalone kiosk application. “I joined AURENA because I was excited by the opportunity to work on a growing product that combines innovation, scalability and real business value. I look forward to contributing to the continued growth and success of the platform.”

Lukas: Supporting the transition of Java-based services

Senior Backend Engineer Lukas brings deep Java expertise and will play an important role in modernizing parts of our existing backend architecture. He will support the ongoing transition of our Java-based services into our newer microservice topology, while also expanding his contribution across our broader backend stack. Lukas gained six years of backend experience in the aviation industry and is now ready for a new challenge: “I find the auction platform itself and the interaction between bidders particularly interesting. I look forward to exploring new technologies and continuing to develop my skills while supporting the further improvement of the AURENA backend services.”

Paul-Lukas: Fascinated by bringing auctions into the digital world

Backend Engineer Paul-Lukas brings a broad technical background across backend and frontend development. With his hands-on mindset and cross-functional experience, he will support initiatives that connect multiple teams and systems. He gained experience as a software engineer at Bitmovin and is now keen to support the AURENA Tech Backend Team with his skills. “The subject of bringing auctions into the digital world is really fascinating, along with all the technology behind it,” Paul-Lukas explains.
