From Bitpanda to AURENA: Oliver Tulla joins as Frontend Lead

AURENA Tech strengthens its frontend team and is happy to welcome Oliver Tulla, formerly working for Bitpanda, as a Lead Developer.

AURENA Tech is happy to welcome Oliver Tulla as a new team member. He joins directly from the trading platform Bitpanda, one of Austria’s most valuable start-ups, where he started in 2017 as one of their first developers and became responsible for building a crypto exchange platform from scratch. “This included building up the team, setting up the work processes, learning how users and bots would interact with an exchange, and getting an architecture down that could scale and stay robust even in times where some services might be overloaded,” Oliver explains. Before that, Oliver worked as a Java Developer at Tricentis. An app project then led him into frontend development.

"A company where you can feel your own impact"

In his new function at AURENA Tech, Oliver is going to lead the frontend engineering team and the frontend development process; he will have a key role in evolving the architecture of our existing single-page applications and in designing new ones.

“I was looking for a company that is still small enough that you can feel your own impact, and where people are working as one on a common goal, rather than just doing their job. I believe I found what I was looking for at AURENA Tech. For me, it’s important to work with people who actually like their jobs, so one of my goals is to foster a culture where people find fulfilment in what they do,” says the new Frontend Lead.

“Oliver has an impressive track record in leading complex frontend applications with a focus on scalability, robustness, and performance. That makes him a perfect fit for the further development of our auction platform. I am sure he will bring our frontend team to the next level – we are very happy to have him on board,” explains AURENA Tech Director Jürgen Blematl.
